This paper aims to analyse chapters 9 and 14 of the so-called Fragmentum Censorini, and to connect them to each other by pointing out the resemblance between the order of the poets at frg. 9,1 and the one of the verses at frg. 14,1-6, and by reflecting on its relevance to Pseudo Censorinus’ metrical conception.
