Two issues regarding Del Bo’s La giustizia are addressed here: the “essentially contested” nature of the concept of justice and the symbolic aspects of the different forms of justice. Regarding the former, it will be held that no concept of justice can be individuated as independent of any particular conception. Regarding the latter, it will be claimed that symbolism allows to make sense of some aspects of justice which remain problematic in Del Bo’s account.

Abstract
Two issues regarding Del Bo’s La giustizia are addressed here: the “essentially contested” nature of the concept of justice and the symbolic aspects of the different forms of justice. Regarding the former, it will be held that no concept of justice can be individuated as independent of any particular conception. Regarding the latter, it will be claimed that symbolism allows to make sense of some aspects of justice which remain problematic in Del Bo’s account.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
