The article investigates the profile of two imaginary historians-geographers (Leucippius and Karinus) mentioned in the chronicles of the Milanese Dominican Galvaneus Flamma (1283-1344), with regard to uncovering the actual source from which Galvaneus’ quotations from Leucippius-Karinus were taken.
