Sul concetto di giustizia. Due osservazioni

The paper discusses two claims advanced by Corrado Del Bò in his analysis of the concept of justice. First, it discusses the idea that the morality of an action depends on the morality of the rule that either prescribes or permits it, by claiming that that idea is convincing only if ‘rule’ refers to a maxim (i.e. to a specific rule, not a general one). Second, it criticizes the equation of social justice with distributive justice, by claiming that distributive justice is only part of social justice and that social justice includes other dimensions – including structural and relational ones – that are not accounted for by that equation.
