Abstract

Could technological singularity lead to an omniscient artificial intelligence potentially replacing the concept of God in the future? How can ethical guidelines and safety protocols be established to prevent AI from posing harm to humanity? Will future developments allow for the defense of diverse religious beliefs against algorithmic discrimination? These inquiries have long occupied the minds of scholars in Law and Religion, prompting the exploration of numerous theories by philosophers, jurists, and futurologists. This paper endeavors to tackle these questions head-on by directly engaging Chatgpt. Through an examination of the AI’s answers, it aims to provide a partial analysis of the algorithm’s sensitivity to the principle of religious nondiscrimination.
