An excavation of preventive archaeology, due to the needs of construction development and directed by the Soprintendenza of Verona between December 2017 and February 2019, brought to light within and on the sides of an ancient paleo-riverbed the important remains of a cemetery extending over a total area of 12,800 sqm. The cemetery presents peculiar and exceptional traits, both for the long period the burial area was used, and for the typologies of the burial rites and the burial goods recovered.
