Here are reported the preliminary results related to Co(II) adsorption studies on a silarox support containing 5% of cobalt (carrier). The joint use of several simple methodologies was tried to get some insight on supported catalyst preparation by equilibrium deposition filtration (EDF). However, an unexpected high carrier instability under the explored experimental conditions, suggested to partially reconsider the experimentation.
