The dynamics of RR interval series is investigated in normal sinus rhythm (NSR) and during Atrial Fibrillation (AF) episodes by using parameters extracted through a time-variant identification of an autoregressive (AR) model and non-linear measurements based on the Corrected Conditional Entropy (CCE). Significant differences were found in the two epochs. Results suggest a possible use of the proposed indexes in the detection of AF episodes.

Abstract
The dynamics of RR interval series is investigated in normal sinus rhythm (NSR) and during Atrial Fibrillation (AF) episodes by using parameters extracted through a time-variant identification of an autoregressive (AR) model and non-linear measurements based on the Corrected Conditional Entropy (CCE). Significant differences were found in the two epochs. Results suggest a possible use of the proposed indexes in the detection of AF episodes.Pubblicazioni consigliate
