Prospettive di applicaizone dell'ICF in tema di risarcimento del danno a persona

The "ICF" was introduced in 191 countries as an international standard, in order to ascertain and classify health and disability rates, usually pertaining to medico-legal evaluation. The "ICF" directly results from ICIDH 1980's revision process, promoted by OMS in 1993, conduced to the formulation of this estimation tool, innovative in concept and construction. The purpose of this classificatory system's diffusion and utilization is to meaningfully assist medical practice, scientific research, population statistics and socio-sanitary policy.The aim of this work is to analyse how this classificatory tool could be applied to medico-legal assessments, particularly in the wide sector of physical impairment compensation. Really, using ICF, an equal evaluation' system and judgement in the compensation of physical impairment should be warranted, according both to Italian constitutional rules and European Community perspectives.
