Method for determining the changes induced by the skin in heterophase matrices characterized in that: - a thin film of a formulation which is capable of transferring specific elements through the skin and changing its permeability are applied topically to the affected part of the body, - a homogeneous layer of the heterophase matrix under test is then applied to the skin covered with the said thin film, - immediately after this application a portion of the homogeneous layer of the heterophase matrix is taken for use as a reference, - the homogeneous layer of the heterophase matrix is restored and after a predetermined period of time a second portion of homogeneous layer is removed from the same area of the skin by the same means, and - the two samples are subjected to a flow test to determine changes in thixotropy within the scope of the entire mud treatment cycle.
