The structures of three new saponins from the bark of Albizzia anthelmintica were established to be 3-O-[β-d-glucopyranosyl(1 → 3)] [α-l-arabinopyranosyl(1 → 2)] [α-l-arabinopyranosyl(1 → 6)] 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-β-d-glucopyranosyl echinocystic acid; 3-O-[α-l-arabinopyranosyl(1 → 2)][α-l-arabinopyranosyl(1 → 6)] 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-β-d-glucopyranosyl echinocystic acid and, present in small amounts, 3-O-[α-l-arabinopyranosyl(1 → 6)] 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-β-d-glucopyranosyl echinocystic acid.

Abstract
The structures of three new saponins from the bark of Albizzia anthelmintica were established to be 3-O-[β-d-glucopyranosyl(1 → 3)] [α-l-arabinopyranosyl(1 → 2)] [α-l-arabinopyranosyl(1 → 6)] 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-β-d-glucopyranosyl echinocystic acid; 3-O-[α-l-arabinopyranosyl(1 → 2)][α-l-arabinopyranosyl(1 → 6)] 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-β-d-glucopyranosyl echinocystic acid and, present in small amounts, 3-O-[α-l-arabinopyranosyl(1 → 6)] 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-β-d-glucopyranosyl echinocystic acid.
