This paper focuses on the Ptolemaic papyri of Homer (the so called "wild papyri"), papyri which were written before 150 BC and offer a Homeric text very different from our “vulgata”. Dario Del Corno wrote extensively on this subject, just before Stephanie West published her edition of these papyri. The paper tries to reconstruct the original contribution of the Italian scholar in the history of Homeric scholarship in the second half of XX century.

Abstract
This paper focuses on the Ptolemaic papyri of Homer (the so called "wild papyri"), papyri which were written before 150 BC and offer a Homeric text very different from our “vulgata”. Dario Del Corno wrote extensively on this subject, just before Stephanie West published her edition of these papyri. The paper tries to reconstruct the original contribution of the Italian scholar in the history of Homeric scholarship in the second half of XX century.Pubblicazioni consigliate
