Abstract
The main concepts of the theory of Size Functions is here introduced, both in 1D and 2D, and applied together with suitable statistical techniques of discriminant analysis to a test case, in order to solve the problem of the research of "the best" geometrical descriptor for the automatic recognition of objects from their geometric characteristics.Pubblicazioni consigliate
