Olvido García Valdés and Pier Paolo Pasolini’s poetics share common features that derive mainly from the elaboration of visual elements of reality: from the immersion of the subject in rural or artistic environments, the books La religión de mi tiempo of the Italian poet and Del ojo al hueso, which the Asturian poet composes just aer having translated Pasolini's collection into Spanish, present a common visual poetic that allows us to enter a metaphysical path whose only transcendent knowledge is the dimension of animal and historical solitude.
