The RADIOLAB project funded by National Institute of Nuclear Physics - INFN in Italy, concerning the dissemination of scientific culture in the field of radioactivity to dispel taboo and bring young people closer to nuclear issues, has been carried out in Italy since 2004. Is is devoted to students of the last years of the High School that are involved in measurements of natural radioactivity in particular of the gas radon-222, in order to understand that we are living in a natural radioactivity world, that the radioactivity is all around us and that each of us is a radioactivity source. It is a non-sporadic laboratory activity, but it extends over two school years. In recent years it has crossed national borders by involving Albanian and Ecuador young people, with students of Themistokli Germenji High School in Korce and Riobamba High School respectively, that carry out the project in a similar way to the Italian version even if it is declined, considering the peculiarity of the different counties. The students must understand the different kind of measurements systems, utilize and expose a long- term dosimeters, analyze the data, prepare a final presentation that will be shared with all the students involved. In this way they confront each other during the dissemination and presentation events of the results devoted also the population, in a very interesting debate that involves different cultures, mentalities, languages and ways of life with a common thread dictated by the understanding of the radioactivity theme that binds and unites them even in the diversity of the culture. This project has shown how powerful is its value, not only for the scientific disciplines it involves but also as a tool for creating a network and international relationships between young people around the word. So, the consolidated result of this experience encourages us to present, to share and to export it to other realities to make the project richer and richer.
