Abstract
Pierre Ruelle, editor in 1985 of the Dialogue des Creatures translated by Colard Mansion (1482), had at his disposal only the manuscript housed at the ÖNB in Vienna; the relatively recent discovery of the second manuscript (in a private collection) made it possible to undertake an exhaustive collation, revealing that (1) the Vienna copy transmits a text of inferior quality, (2) the two manuscripts derive from a common antigraph, (3) the errors of the Vienna manuscript can be attributed in most cases to the copyist, not to the translator.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
