Abstract
Time resolved optical parametric image conversion processes can be used to recover three dimensional, space-time intensity maps of optical wave packets. Under appropriate conditions, we show that the technique provides a true dynamical holographic recording of the object field. We develop a quantitative analytical description of the spatiotemporal imaging process and we derive useful relations for the design of high resolution imaging schemes.Pubblicazioni consigliate
