Disclosed is a polymer formed from monomers obtained by the reaction of a bisacrylamide with at least one amino acid and/or at least one peptide, said amino acid and/or said peptide comprising a thiol group and/or a primary amine substituted in position a with an electron-attracting group and a group that is not hydrogen. The polymer may be used to prep. a medicament, preferably for the vesiculation of an active ingredient, or with peptide-mimetic functions, or again as an active constituent of biosensors. In the examples, 1,4-diacryloylpiperazine and L-cysteine are reacted by a Michael type polyaddn. reaction, more specificly; 1,4-diacryloylpiperazine is dissolved in water under nitrogen atm., L-cysteine and lithium hydroxide are then added, the pH is brought to about 9, the mixt. is stirred and left at ambient temp. in the dark, stirring occasionally for 72 h, the crude soln. is then acidified to a pH of 4 with the addn. of hydrochloric acid, the crude product is purified, the final product is obtained in the form of a hydrochloride.

Abstract
Disclosed is a polymer formed from monomers obtained by the reaction of a bisacrylamide with at least one amino acid and/or at least one peptide, said amino acid and/or said peptide comprising a thiol group and/or a primary amine substituted in position a with an electron-attracting group and a group that is not hydrogen. The polymer may be used to prep. a medicament, preferably for the vesiculation of an active ingredient, or with peptide-mimetic functions, or again as an active constituent of biosensors. In the examples, 1,4-diacryloylpiperazine and L-cysteine are reacted by a Michael type polyaddn. reaction, more specificly; 1,4-diacryloylpiperazine is dissolved in water under nitrogen atm., L-cysteine and lithium hydroxide are then added, the pH is brought to about 9, the mixt. is stirred and left at ambient temp. in the dark, stirring occasionally for 72 h, the crude soln. is then acidified to a pH of 4 with the addn. of hydrochloric acid, the crude product is purified, the final product is obtained in the form of a hydrochloride.Pubblicazioni consigliate
