Since the 80s of last century, with the opening of China to the world, numerous neologisms have appeared reflecting the social and ideological changes of the country. Being capable to correctly translate the new terms is a great challenge for Chinese translators because the quality of translation can positively or negatively influence cultural and economic exchanges with foreign countries. A first problem for the correct rendering of words or the message of the source language in foreign languages is given by the translations through sites and apps that propose automatic translations, solutions often not relevant and sometimes even misleading. A second case is that of the Chinglish (Zhōngshì yīngyǔ 中式 英语) which involves a variety of English in which the words are drawn in an ungrammatical way, literally reproducing the structure of the syntactic chain of the Chinese phrase.
