The article is focused on "secondary" passengers rights, such as the right to be compensated and assisted in the event of denied boarding and of cancellation or long delay of flights. Follows an analysis of the role of the National Enforcement Bodies according to Regulation 261/2004/EC and a comparison between this latter and the Montreal Convention or the Unification of Certain Rules for International Carriage by Air.
