The purpose of the present study was to show histological modifications of permanent teeth suffering for a mechanical trauma without contamination by the oral microflora. Low intensity shocks can provoke pulpar tissue necrosis with no signs of inflammatory cells within three months. This information could be useful for the clinician to closely monitor the teeth affected by light traumatic lesions.
