Controllo dei residui di prodotti fitosanitari in prodotti vegetali nel triennio 2008-2011 nella città di Milano [Assessment of pesticide residues in food of plant origin in Milan (Italy), 2008-2011]

Objectives: To monitor the presence of pesticide residues in food of plant origin in Milan from 1 July 2008 to 31 December 2011. Materials and methods: Food of plant origin found in fruit and vegetable markets and in supermarkets was analysed, to evaluate whether it was contaminated by any seventy active principles of pesticides. Results: Two hundred seventy-seven samples of fruits and vegetables were analysed. No pesticide residues were found in 61.7% of the samples, 37.9% had residues below the maximum threshold and 0.4% had residues above the threshold. Conclusions: Results are satisfactory and in agreement with national and international data.

Obiettivi: monitorare la presenza di residui di fitofarmaci su alimenti di origine vegetale a Milano dal 1/7/2008 al 31/12/2011. Materiali e metodi: Gli alimenti di origine vegetale, prelevati presso ortomercati e supermercati, sono sottoposti all'analisi di una settantina di principi attivi di fitofarmaci. Risultati: Nel periodo considerato, di 277 campioni di frutta e ortaggi, il 61.7% non presenta residui, il 37.9% residui inferiori ai limiti massimi e lo 0.4% superiori. Conclusioni: La situazione appare buona ed in linea con la condizione nazionale ed internazionale.
