Abstract

New catalysts for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis are studied. These cobalt and ruthenium based samples were prepared adding an high power ultrasound treatment to a traditional impregnation methos. Characterization studies showd a very good dispersion of the metals on the support. Fischer Tropsch activity test give good CO conversion obtaining a very satisfactory heavy hydrocarbons selectivity.
