The authors report their experience of videothoracoscopy in patients with spontaneous pneumothorax. between July 1991 and April 1995 82 patients underwent a videothoracscopic pleurectomy. in 4 cases postoperative bleeding demanded videothoracoscopic reoperation. Intraoperative mortality was jul. The 3 to 40 monts follow-up did not reveal any recurrence.
