A 49-year-old woman with a history of plaque psoriasis on her legs presented to our institution in 2006. The patient reported having a worsening of psoriasis after dental treatment. She had 4 dental amalgam tooth fillings and 1 gold-based dental alloy. We did a patch test with general and dental allergens series but it was negative at 96 hours. She decided to undergo the complete amalgam removal and gold crown as well. Few months after mercury dental amalgam removal, her psoriatic lesions improved progressively.
