The diagnostic techniques including cytology, histology, histological classifications (Rappaport, Working formulation, Lennert, Kiel and REAL) immunocytochemistry and immunohistochemistry of small animals lymphomas are introduced and their prognostic role summarized. Incidence and prevalence and the role of FIV and FeLV in feline lymphoma development are also illustrated.
