A method has been developed for the extraction and analysis of phenolic components from crude extracts of Ginkgo biloba by supercritical fluid extraction with carbon dioxide combined with off-line capillary gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. Class-selective extraction has been performed with a single supercritical fluid by varying the extraction conditions. This method is applicable to the scale-up, isolation and identification of toxic phenolic components in commercial extracts of G. biloba.

Abstract
A method has been developed for the extraction and analysis of phenolic components from crude extracts of Ginkgo biloba by supercritical fluid extraction with carbon dioxide combined with off-line capillary gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. Class-selective extraction has been performed with a single supercritical fluid by varying the extraction conditions. This method is applicable to the scale-up, isolation and identification of toxic phenolic components in commercial extracts of G. biloba.Pubblicazioni consigliate
