The phase diagram shows that two solid solutions exist, with the cubic CsCl type structure, beta, and with the cubic NaCl type structure, alpha, respectively: a miscibility gap occurs within the beta phase. The experimental determinations have been carried out by means of DTA, polythermic visual method and, especially to define the miscibility gap, by means of the a.c. conductivity variation method. The whole phase diagram has been finally computed by assuming the regular symmetric solution model in the sense of Guggenheim.

Abstract

Fester Lösungen zwischen einwertigen Ionenhalogeniden mußten zunächst die entsprechenden Phasendiagramme vorläufig festgelegt werden. Der hier vorliegende Fall betrifft das System CsCl -T1C1, für das nur vorläufige Versuche zu den Liquidus-und Solidus-Kurven in der Literatur vorliegen. Das Phasendiagramm zeigt, daß zwei feste Lösungen mit der kubischen CsCl-Struktur ß und der kubischen NaCl-Struktur existieren; innerhalb der ß-Phase tritt eine Mischungslücke auf.Die experimentellen Bestimmungen wurden mit Hilfe der DTA, der polythermischen visuellen Methode und, insbesondere zur Festlegung der Mischungslücke, der Wechselstrom-Leitfähigkeit durchgeführt. Schließlich wurde das ganze Phasendiagramm unter der Annahme des regulären symmetrischen Lösungsmodells nach Guggenheim berechnet.
