The phase diagram shows that two solid solutions exist, with the cubic CsCl type structure, beta, and with the cubic NaCl type structure, alpha, respectively: a miscibility gap occurs within the beta phase. The experimental determinations have been carried out by means of DTA, polythermic visual method and, especially to define the miscibility gap, by means of the a.c. conductivity variation method. The whole phase diagram has been finally computed by assuming the regular symmetric solution model in the sense of Guggenheim.
