Abstract
Too many young people perceive science as being uninteresting, distant and, above all, ‘uncool’. Usually, young people attribute their lack of interest in science to the way it is taught in schools, to the complexity of the subjects, and to an apparent shortage of attractive career prospects. This, both in Italy and in Europe, caused a gradual dropping in the numbers of students pursuing science and technology studies at the University. In this content, Cus-Mi-Bio organizes new attractive initiatives involving, throughout the entire school year long, high school students to promote their predisposition for science studies and research activity.
