CranioCorpoGraphy (CCG) is one of the most common test to evaluate equilibrium and coordination, studying the pattern of movement of markers placed on the head and trunk. The aim of this work is the assess the coordination of healthy people in different experimental set-ups through a 3D dCCG system. So an optoelectronic system in a two TV camera configuration was used. In particular it was interesting to investigate the pattern of movement of head and trunk when the subject has open eyes, he looks at a target, he has closed eyes, he is blindfolded and he is blindfolded and wears headphones; all these five tasks were repeated with a carpet on the floor. Subjects were asked to step on the spot in a more natural way and to standardize the length of the tasks, the test finished after almost 60 steps and 35 seconds. The frequency of the steps is decided by the subject and not pre-arranged. Furthermore the subject must take his hands and arms behind the back. The displacements and rotations of the two rigid bodies head and trunk were analyzed to introduce new parameters with respect to the traditional 2D dCCG. So 6 markers were adopted: three were attached onto an helmet placed on the head, two on the left shoulder and one on the right shoulder. The analyzed parameters were the Index of Coordination, speed (global with its lateral, vertical and longitudinal components), rotation angle (in the frontal, horizontal and sagittal plane) and displacement of the head and trunk.
