Abstract

Considering the high variability of the working environment in agricultore, a study has been conducted, aimed to monitor the level of vibrations transmitted to the hand-arm system through the steering organs of four tractors under different working conditions. The test results confirm said variability, depending on factors such as the tractors' size and type, the different operations and the test surface. In some cases, high vibration levels occurred, determining shortexposure times, according to the standards limits. In this context, more efficient shock absorbing devices are neededin order to increase the quality of the workingconditions
