Thin- and thick-target excitation functions of 188,189,191Pt radionuclides were exptl. detd. by cyclotron irradn., using nuclear reactions natOs(α,xn) in the energy range up to 38 MeV with the Scanditronix-MC40 cyclotron of the Joint Research Center-Ispra (Italy) of the European Union. Radionuclidic, radiochem. and chem. purities have been also measured by use of anal. and radio-anal. techniques. The result of the exptl. thin target excitation functions of 188,189,191Pt radiotracers produced via natOs(α,xn) reactions are presented. Two stacks of thin osmium targets were irradiated at 38 and 28 MeV, resp. Anal. fittings of the excitation functions are also presented.
