The objectives of this presentation will be the following: to show present applications of piezoelectric istruments for bone harvesting procedures from intraoral and extraoral sites; to show advantages and disadvantages of piezoelectric instruments as compared to standard devices such as fissure and round burs assembled on low-speed handpieces.
