The transport number of the Ag + ions has been determined throughout the composition range of the solid solutions (Ag,Na)Cl and (Ag,Na)Br by means of a simple polarization method of the cell Ag/(Ag,Na)X/Ag. The results are comparable with those reported in literature obtained through traditional methods.
