The Active Bridge-Push pull converter (ABP) with phase shift control adopted for the European payloads in the remote power distribution assembly on board the International Space Station (ISS) is described. The paper also considers its scaled down version well suited for multiple low-voltage outputs generation. Dynamic models of the converters put into evidence their robustness and suitability to supply constant power loads f.i. further voltage regulation circuits.
